Epinephrine, Benadryl®, and the evolving conversation on treatment of anaphylaxis

May 4, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

Join us to learn the importance of epinephrine as first-line treatment for anaphylaxis and whether antihistamines have a role during a reaction. Plus, you’ll learn how to recognize anaphylaxis, how to manage it, and the latest thinking on treatment guidelines.

What the webinar is about: During this interactive session, with your input provided through polling, our experts will address common concerns about treating anaphylaxis with epinephrine and when antihistamines might be given. As part of this, you’ll gain a better understanding of the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and when to use epinephrine. Plus, learn from our experts about discussions underway to evaluate the current protocol of going to the hospital after using this life-saving medication and how that may change.
