It’s Food Allergy Awareness Month: Join the #KnowItTreatIt conversation!

May 1, 2023

Food Allergy Awareness Month (FAAM) is here!

This year, we are bringing back our #KnowItTreatIt campaign showcasing real stories on the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and the treatment for it.

We encourage you to share your personal “Know it. Treat it.” story throughout the month to help spread food allergy awareness and education. Together, let’s take the mystery out of anaphylaxis, and empower all Canadians to “Know” what the signs and symptoms are and how to “Treat” anaphylaxis.

*Contest Alert* Share your #KnowItTreatIt story and be entered to win 1-of-4 exclusive prizes! Grand prize includes a $250 VISA gift card!

Tell us how you knew you were having an anaphylactic reaction and how you treated it. If you haven’t had an anaphylactic reaction, share how you would recognize anaphylaxis and treat it. Every entry will automatically be entered into the contest! Learn more and enter the #KnowItTreatIt contest today.
